December Update
Hello, everyone! Here’s a new devlog to avoid radio silence. I’ve continued to work on the game a lot over the past month, putting in extra hours, albeit slowly.
I’ve been working hard on polishing various aspects of the game, and this week marks significant progress moving forward. It’s been taking some time, but I’m getting there!
December Update
This week’s main focus is voice acting, which is currently a major priority for the game. A lot of progress has been made so far, and I can’t wait to share more as we move closer to release. While a lot about the game has already been revealed, there’s still so much more to show.
I have big plans, including a trailer that I’ll start working on gradually, focusing first on the script. With voice acting now settled, future progress will revolve around incorporating it further into the game.
As for game footage, as I’ve mentioned before, I’m saving much of it for upcoming trailers and reveals later on. Keep an eye out online for updates!
I’m getting closer and closer to finally completing the game. It’s not as far off as I once thought, but there’s still plenty of work to do. Post-release polishing will likely take some time too, as I want this game to be as polished as possible, even with its limitations.
Stage of Development
Regarding how far along the game is overall, I’d say it’s about 60% done. There is still a decent amount left to do, but a lot of it is already fully complete and planned out.
There’s still plenty of work left for me, and beta testing hasn’t really begun yet. I have had friends test the game, but only a very early iteration, and it’s far from the complete package. I’ll be working overtime to bring it to a finished state, but as I’ve said before, it’s pretty much almost complete!
I’ll be showing a lot more of it over time, but for now, things are going well. This game will definitely come out; it’ll just take some time. I’ve been reaching for the stars with this project, shortcomings included. While not everything will click with everyone, and it might not resonate the same way for everyone, this is a personal project that means a lot to me. I’m dedicated to making it the best it can be at launch and shaping it into the kind of work I want to create in the future.
More updates down the line. see you soon
